…and so I ate—sick and sweet—for your pleasure
This installation is a visual representation of the internalized misogyny that is pervasive in our culture. Looking at representation in media, women seemed to all be construed to fit into the same box of objectification. This installation explores the harm of consuming your own dysmorphic image shaped after the male gaze.
Digital Dystopia
This artist book focuses on the effects that our digital world has on our experiences in the physical world. Taking shape in the belief that one cannot exist in two places at once, the artist book focuses heavily on textile sensation to ground the reader in the physical world. Its form, which recalls an adolescent innocence, juxtaposes the heavy topic of loss expressed in the book, while also complementing the unfiltered and sometimes naive wistfulness of the authors words.
